Places worth seeing in Warsaw

Warsaw is a city with a rich history. It has many well-known monuments of culture and history. However, our list of places worth visiting in the capital city does not include only the most popular ones, but also those less obvious gems, which in our opinion are worth visiting.

In the closest vicinity of rented apartments there are several popular tourist attractions. With a distance of 1.6 km, you will find:

  • Powązkowski Cemetery
  • Museum of the History of Polish Jews
  • Monument to the Ghetto Heroes
  • North Gate skyscraper

In the close distance from the apartments, there are also two metro (underground) stations, which stand out from any other:

The Plac Wilsona metro station features impressive and unparalleled architecture in Warsaw. It has a glass elliptical dome, located on the south side of the station. Depending on the time of the day, the dome is illuminated in different colours, which creates a stunning luminescent show.

The Marymont metro station is a feast for the eyes, with its decorations of granite, steel, aluminium and glass, making the station an interesting object of modern architecture. As an additional attraction, this station houses a gallery of works by young artists, exhibited there as part of the “Train to Art” project.

If you want to explore the city even more and are willing to leave the vicinity of the apartments, Warsaw will offer you numerous attractions. We recommend some of the most popular sights:
